This is a collection of my early work. My degree was actually in painting and I was heavily influenced by artists like Caravaggio, Vermeer, and Odd Nerdrum. Everything including the stretcher bars, the ground, the sizing, and the paint technique was based on classical methods of execution. I have only recently started getting back into this style. Stay tuned because you might just see more of this in the near future.
